Does anyone have a two car trailer that I could borrow/ rent for the show? I am in the Louisville, KY area. I have the truck (2007 2500HD) and I have the two cars almost ready. They are smaller cars with virtually no ground clearance, and they don't way that much.

I'm looking for a rental 2 car trailer as well. (don't worry I'm no where near you so I'm not trying to hijack your thread :azzangel: )

Anyway, if someone knows a company that rents them in the midwest I'm sure both of us would love to know!!

I thought UHaul had something you can rent. not sure on the pricing; but i remember someone telling that they did.

This is all Uhaul has: http://www.uhaul.com/guide/index.aspx?equipment=towing-autotransport

Yeah, I know about the equipment rental places. I used to work for United Rentals. They have a taller trailer with angle iron type ramps. I won't even be able to put either car on it. I was thinking an enclosed with a solid door ramp. The Dub has about 1.5" of room to work with underneath and the Honda is in the ballpark of 2-2.5" off the ground. It dosen't matter what the trailer has to go behind either. I drive a truck... a real truck. If the 2500HD isn't good enough, I can always go get the International 9400i Eagle that I drive on a daily basis.

dflwrx, if I get any leads, I'll post up for sure.

I apparently have lucked out several times. I have some small gouges on it, but I've never busted one. I'm still on the stock pan. I have brought home several pieces of I-65 with me. :D

stacked 2x8's make great ramp extenders. I use two screwed together to lower my angle of attack to the trailer. They're cheap but heavy, but they'll do the trick. With only 1" of clearance to work with, you're not going to find anything "off the shelf" that will work.

That said, EVOlutionary has minimal ground clearance and at the Peru NT he used about 20' of aluminum ramps to lower his angle a great deal. Might want to PM him and see what he says.
